Glasses.com
Glasses.com is a nationwide brand, and as such, they are always on the lookout for ways in which they can insert themselves into online conversations in a natural way. I was the social media provider for the #GetSomeGlasses campaign, that was originally developed by The Martin Group. In this campaign, we created a social media promotion in which fans could nominate a referee on twitter using the hashtag #getsomeglasses. Glasses.com would then send them a pair of top brand name frames, hoping it would help correct their impaired vision. My team was in charge of the community management aspect of this campaign. During each NFL and College Football game of the season, we would monitor games for big referee decisions and respond to fans who disagreed with a refs call. After making initial contact, our team would then help direct them to a designated landing page where they could nominate the referee to win the week's pair of frames.
